Graves in Mexico
This is a small village’s graveyard. The tombstones are scattered all over, facing in all directions, and it can be hard to walk through without stepping on the graves.
There is a section for infants and children, and many of these graves are adorned by statues of angels.
Some of the graves have large crosses as the headstone, and some are covered by a soda bottle, possibly to keep birds from sitting on there and pooping on the graves. There are also other soda bottles scattered around, possibly used to hold water for watering the flowers.
You will see in one of the photos a large pile of dead stems from flowers.
These graves are very pretty and often overgrown. Each grave has its own separate atmosphere. They vary in complexity.
A huge tree grows in the center.
